Lulu and Chappu a love lost
I was sad about lulu and chappu the coldness people see is a women whos heart is dying and a sadness that eats away at her, lulu must have loved Chappu very much they where to be married but sadly Chappu died. Lulu misses him you can tell and when she speaks of him there is a sadness and a proudness but she also appears to be mad at him a little for going to his death, and he never prayed at the statue at besaid island before he left.
I dont think anyone would or could take his place, maybe she looks to wakka
and sees some of chappus spirit and when she meets tidus she is a little taken
aback by his presence because he looks a lot like chappu, she isnt too impressed
when wakka gives chappus sword to tidus
its as if she has to finally accept that he has gone.
The farplane was very sad and i cant understand why lulu could not see chappu yet wakka could, there is a scene later on in the game where tidus sees lulu stood alone looking out and nobody came to her, i find it strange that lulu didnt want to see Chappu at the Farplane maybe this means she hasnt fully accepted his death and holding on to a memory very sad.
